SCMJ is pleased to announce a new Mentorship Program designed for its members. The purpose of the program is to help young SCMJ members develop their careers or hone their entrepreneurial skills. and gain the “real world” knowledge through free mentoring provided by qualified professionals in various business, high-tech and education fields. SCMJ will utilize its internal resources and external networks to best satisfy the needs of the mentees.
The mentoring will be conducted on an individual or a small group setting. It’ll cover three major areas: career, entrepreneurship and
business management. The session format and frequency will vary depending on the individual mentor and his/her mentees. Please bear in mind however that the design of this program is strategic, rather than tactical, with a macroscopic instead of operational focus. SCMJ will facilitate the pairing and the mentoring processes but will not be directly involved in or legally responsible for such mentoring sessions.
We are very pleased to have 5 distinguished professionals who have graciously volunteered to offer their mentoring services at the outset of this program. We will continue to recruit additional mentors with diverse backgrounds so as to meet future demands. Mentor volunteers or referrals are absolutely welcome!
